NOTICE BOARDESTATE NOTICES
Will All Residents kindly Note that the Council Refuse Collection day has changed. Estate Refuse will now be collected weekly on Wednesdays.
IMPORTANT.
- An ongoing programme of front door repair or replacement has been approved by the Board. Individual leaseholders should contact the estate office if they believe their front door requires repair or replacement.
- Recently a number of residents have complained of litter and cigarette buts being thrown into their private gardens. Apart from the obvious inconvenience caused this also comprises both a health and fire risk. We ask that all residents observe the strict code of conduct laid down in the lease in respect of such behaviour.
-
The Telematic pedestrian gate entry facilities have now been in operation for some time. Any residents who require information on the use of this system please contact the Estate Office. The company, aware of the difficulty some residents have in opening the Gliddon Road pedestrian gate due to the weight and the 'stiffness' of the opening mechanism have addressed this problem with the fixing of a new, larger opening handle.
- To clarify the Telematic operating system - the system that interacts with your home OR MOBILE telephone. Firstly please ensure with the Estate Office that your telephone number has been registered for use with the system. A visitor can contact your home or mobile telephone number from the access keypad of both pedestrian gates and the vehicle access gate. To do this they key the single number digit defining the your block as follows:
1 = Colet Gardens - followed by the apartment number of your property
2 = Lilly Close - followed by the apartment number of your property
3 = More Close - followed by the apartment number of your property
- Your telephone will ring and upon identifying your visitor you can allow access by pushing the hash '#' key on your telephone keypad. This system should work equally well with both fixed line and cordless telephone systems. NB: Any charges incurred by using a mobile telephone on the system will be totally the responsibility of the mobile telephone account holder.
